HAVE you ever bought clothes online that looked nothing like they did on the website?
A TikToker has shared her failure of a Shein haul, and one item even reminded viewers of a cult.
Plus-size TikTok user Alyssa Goldwater shared her Shein haul with her followers, but only one item was a success.
For her first look, Alyssa modeled a purple patterned button up maxi dress.
“This first dress is a total fail. It’s a 3x. First of all the belt barely goes around me,” the TikToker said.
She continued: “It’s tight [around the chest] and you can definitely see through every single [button gap]. So this is a no, I’m unimpressed, unfortunately. It was cute online.”
Next, the influencer tried on a mock neck dalmatian print green and black midi dress with flounce sleeves.
“This is a higher neck version of a dress I tried on [previously]. Cute, cute, cute. Really like it, great fit, true to size. I really like this one,” Alyssa said.
Finally, the TikToker showed her viewers a purple long sleeved maxi dress.
She explained: “I had to buy it because look how beautiful the color is, but do I look like I’m singing in a church choir? Because that’s what I feel like.”

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the haul.
“The purple looks just like a night gown my Nana wore in the 70s,” said one viewer.
Another user suggested: “The first one would make a great layering piece, like a long duster over a solid color dress.”
“That third dress reminds me of some scary cult. Love the second one,” wrote a third person.
