Conservative Beauty Guru Rips Ulta Over Trans Video Explaining ‘Girlhood,’ Issues Warning To Women

Amanda Ensing, beauty guru and CEO and founder of makeup company Elevate Beauty, slammed Ulta Beauty for a controversial podcast featuring a biologically male transgender actor and influencer explaining “girlhood” and motherhood.

Ensing was notably canceled by beauty company Sephora in 2021 after the YouTuber spoke openly about her conservative and Christian views.

“Women: stop spending money with companies that want to erase you to appease a narrative. Womanhood is not a costume or feeling,” Ensing blasted Ulta via Twitter.

In another tweet, Ensing asserted, “You can’t be for women’s rights, but also say there’s no definition of a woman. You can’t be for women’s rights, while denying the truth of what a woman is.”

On her Instagram account, where the businesswoman has 1.4 million followers, Ensing added more commentary to the fight over identity, specifically womanhood.

“Too many people claiming to be for women’s rights, but denying our existence & allowing everyone to speak for women BUT women,” she wrote. “Also, where are the strong men to stand up? Many men are silent because they’re been brainwashed that their masculinity is toxic. Men are protectors & are to protect women.”

In numerous Instagram stories, the 31-year-old blasted the media and other forces for manipulating people into silence.

“I’m not gonna be silenced by men — or anyone for that matter,” she said. “This whole attack on identity the last couple years just keeps getting worse because the media and society have used people’s emotions [against them]. … You can’t love someone without the truth. It is impossible. You can’t love someone in a lie, that’s why when someone you love lies to you it hurts so much.”

“Right now, we have a whole society lying to people in the name of love and tolerance when it’s not,” the influencer said.

Ensing added that it’s even more of a “slap in the face” now that she’s pregnant to be told that men can do things only women can, like carry life.

“I’ve watched it happen in the beauty industry over the last decade,” Ensing explained, noting that women have been “silenced.”

“They want to bully you — you can’t even say ‘women empowerment’ without using qualifiers now to include men. It’s a clown world. And I’m not about to be erased.”

Ensing told women they need to think about their “identity in Christ” before blindly supporting movements that hurt them.

“Right now, I think women are more in danger than we ever have been,” she asserted. “How do you even have women’s rights when there’s no definition of a woman?”

“How do you even have women’s rights when there’s no definition of a woman?”

“And so many women just cheering it on … you don’t understand the bigger picture here,” Ensing said. “People just want to be accepted by society so bad they are willing to forgo the way they were created.”

“They don’t know how special and unique they are,” she said. “If they were created male or female — they don’t understand it because society has convinced them that they live in a universe with all these big things and you’re so tiny, which is a complete lie. You are so unique and special.”
