THIS is the shocking moment a speeding car ploughs into a pedestrian – sending him hurtling through the air.
CCTV shows the victim strolling across a road at night.
But moments later, as he nears the pavement, a hatchback appears to swerve into the man.
He’s sent into a somersault and crashes to the ground before the motorist flees the scene without stopping.
Incredibly the pedestrian got up and walked home following the New Year’s Eve collision in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
He later took himself to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Police are now hunting the driver who mowed down the innocent pedestrian at 10.30pm, on Bradford Street.

The horror comes as a woman narrowly avoided death after a pallet of bricks slid off a lorry and wiped her out.
The 23-year-old pedestrian was left with serious injuries following the horror in Hampshire.
