Celebrity coach and personal coach Lesley Maxwell would far rather feel the weight of a dumbbell in her hand, than a handbag.

In one of her posts this week, as reported in the Daily Star, Lesley confessed to owning more dumbbells than bags.

This revelation is not the thunderbolt it appears, for she is dedicated to the body being beautiful and spends her working life in the gym.

Testament to that are the titles and championships she has gathered, running as long as her arm.

“Seriously, I have more dumbbells than handbags. Who’s the same?” she asked.

Then added: “I think dumbbells are a woman’s best accessory.”

Lesley’s 134,000 Instagram followers are avid devotees of her daily affirmations.

“I’m a much better person after a workout,” she said in a post.

“My mood is more positive plus training even helps with my breathing. Positive endorphins are released.”

Lesley’s fitness regime means she has a body many can only dream of.

She appears in her posts wearing a wardrobe of gym outfits in multiple colors as she encourages others to start pumping iron.

She is also very comfortable wearing a two-piece: “One should never be too old to wear a bikini,” she said.

“Hopefully I can inspire more women to lift weights for health reasons as well as looking and feeling strong,” she said.

Lesley feels she can make a real difference to people and loves her job.

“I love being in the fitness industry and consider myself blessed to be helping others get into great shape and health.”

But when she’s not competing, the Australian, from Melbourne, often inspires fans who are starting their own journeys.

Fans love the energy and spirit of this lady.

“Hot damn. I don’t know how you could get any better than you are,” gushed one fan.

Another said: “Your strong, seductive body never fails to set my pulse racing.”
