DEVASTATED after finding out Mackenzie Boyd cheated on her, Charity Dingle is recovering from the betrayal.
But she’s thrown off by a surprising discovery concerning her son Ryan Stocks next week in Emmerdale.
Ryan Stocks (portrayed by James Moore) has been standing on the side-lines in recent months but he was one of the many villagers to rally around Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) after she found out Mackenzie Boyd had cheated on her.
The lad was shocked and furious to learn that Mackenzie had not only been unfaithful but had also fathered Chloe Harris’ baby as a result.
Much like Noah Dingle, Ryan has shown off his protective streak by turning his back on Mack and supporting Charity through her heartbreak ordeal.
But in scenes airing next week on ITV, Ryan gets distracted from his mother’s turmoil as he focuses on his own matters of the heart.

Coming up, he’s gobsmacked when a face from his past resurfaces and welcomes Gail in the eponymous village.
However, he remains suspicious of Gail’s motive for reappearing in his life after four years of radio silence.
Soon enough, Charity finds out that Ryan and Gail have spent the night together and the pair are embarrassed to have been caught.
But what is Gail really up to and could it mean trouble for Ryan?

Gail was last seen in the village in 2019, when she rocked up to pay him a visit at The Woolpack.
At the time, Charity was delighted when she seemed to take an interest in her son but Ryan was to preoccupied by Dawn Fletcher.
Ryan eventually got over his feelings for Dawn and decided they were better off as friends, which eventually led her to tie the knot with Billy Fletcher.
Since then, Ryan’s love life has been at standstill but could it finally be time for him and Gail to try things out?
