Vine was talking his listeners through the latest headlines of the day when he brought up the current controversy surrounding school buildings.

It was revealed this week that 150 schools may be forced into lockdown after being told to shut down buildings and classrooms at risk of collapse.

After discussing the issue on air with comments from viewers, Jeremy lightened the mood with a Beyonce track.

He started playing the popstar’s hit song Halo, after Harry and Meghan were recently spotted dancing to it.

However, it was poorly timed, with the lyrics at the start being: “Remember those walls I built?

“Well, baby they’re tumbling down.

“And they didn’t even put up a fight. They didn’t even make a sound.”

The ill-judged song choice by Jezza stunned viewers – with one saying they almost ‘crashed their car’.

Reacting on social media, the listener said: “Almost crashed the car when I heard this (wait for the song). Still deciding whether the music scheduler should be sacked or given a pay rise…”

A second wrote: “Jeremy does this all the time. Pretty sure it is mostly deliberate.”

“That’s gotta be deliberate,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “Does it every day. Very clever digs at people.”

Jeremy has since taken to social media to issue an apology for the mishap as she shared a clip from the show.

He wrote on X: “This is on me. Apologies everyone.”
