A HAIRDRESSER has issued a warning to anybody who has hair extensions after being left shocked by a client’s bodged xx
Michaela Rose explained how her client came to her to rectify the “dreadful” state of the hair extensions she forked out £200 for at another salon.
In the clip (@rosehairbeautyaesthetics), she begins by sharing her horror at her client’s bodged hair extensions, which are a totally different colour to her real hair and are so matted, they look like a bird’s nest.
“This is shocking. I’m sorry, I’ve got to post this case,” she says. “My client came in and her extensions were in a dreadful state.
“For some reason they were really dry, matted, grown out, but the hair in itself was such poor quality.”
She goes onto say how the client didn’t have a lot of money to buy new hair because it’s so expensive, so reassured her she’d be able to sort it out.

“So we decided to give it a deep conditioning treatment, detangle and then I checked out the nano rings and they were mashed, like you couldn’t even loosen them,” she explains.
“It was horrific – not to mention they were just scattered all at the back of her head.”
“The poor lady didn’t have any hair balancing out the sides – it was heavy on her scalp, frizzy and damaged.”
The hair whizz claims the woman wasn’t given the right aftercare advice so she wasn’t blow drying her hair after washing it, meaning the moisture was leaving her hair porous.

“Obviously when hair’s in a porous state, it’s more prone to damage because it’s stretchy,” she adds.
Deciding to take them all out, they had no choice but to just start again and detangle them one at a time, brushing out the dead hair from each micro ring.
She concludes by warning: “Be careful, guys.
“When you buy extensions, you need quality, good after care advice, because your service is only going to last and be as fresh as much as you look after it.
“So make sure you know the brand of your extensions, how much they cost at retail, how much they’re worth.”
The clip has since gone viral, racking up over 365k views and several comments from social media users up and down the country – with many commending Michaela Rose for her great job rectifying the problem.
“Looks so good! Well done to you!” wrote one.
A second praised: “Wow you have done an amazing job. To get that to this , that’s unreal what you have done. Amazing!!!!”
A third commented: “I have been having them in my hair for 6 years and only had 3 sets of hair. You get what you pay for.”
