Leonardo DiCaprio has a reputation for only dating women aged 25 or under – but it appears his new girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti could finally be the woman to break the habit of a lifetime.
The Titanic star, 48, is ‘crazy’ about the Italian supermodel, who turns 26 in June, with insiders claiming he is now dating her exclusively as she has ‘all of the qualities he looks for in a partner’.
The pair, who were first pictured on a date in August and recently put on a very public display of affection, are said to have bonded over a strong desire to save the planet from climate change.
‘Leo is crazy about Vittoria and he finds every aspect of her intriguing,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘He likes where this is going and he is only seeing her right now. She is very intelligent and has all of the qualities that he looks for in a partner.’

Among these attributes is Vittoria’s interest in environmental causes, which was a ‘huge draw’ for the Killers of the Flower Moon actor.
Vittoria was previously featured on the cover of Vogue Italia, holding a stone which read ‘Protect Venice.’ Touted as ‘Italy‘s most famous model’ in the accompanying article, she used the opportunity to raise awareness of the impact of rising sea-levels in Venice.
Leonardo has fought tirelessly to raise funds and bring awareness to the protection of biodiversity, oceans and forest conservation since launching The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998.
‘This gives them so much to talk about,’ the insider added. ‘She was an environmentalist before meeting Leo, so it’s not like she met him and suddenly she cares about the earth.
‘Vittoria is successful and beyond financially independent. She is obviously stunning and he finds her incredible. But for now, they are intent on keeping much of their romance private.’
With the actor’s apparent penchant for dating younger women, Vittoria would be forgiven for fearing for their romance come June 7 when she turns 26.
But a separate source told DailyMail.com earlier this year that Leonardo is keen on ditching his reputation for dating women who are ‘under’ the age of 25.
They said: ‘He is looking for something more mature in the relationship department.’
DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for Leonardo and Vittoria.

Clearly the couple are currently smitten with one another, with Vittoria pictured with her hand down the Oscar-winner’s pants and grabbing his rear end at a Halloween bash last weekend.
The pair reportedly turned down the temperature ‘once they realized they were being watched’ and ‘went back inside almost immediately.’
Vittoria announced her separation from her DJ husband of three years, Matteo Milleri, in a TikTok video in June.
In August, she was pictured with Leonardo on an afternoon ice-cream date in Santa Barbara, before they were pictured kissing at a nightclub in Ibiza in the early hours the following month.
Sources at the time told Page Six that they had ‘been spending quite a bit of time together over the past few months’ and were ‘enjoying getting to know one another on a deeper level.’

Vittoria, the daughter of designer Francesca Lazzari, was discovered aged 14 in the 2012 Elite Model Look competition.
The Balenciaga brand ambassador, who has modeled for the likes of Alexander McQueen and Versace, appears to be well acquainted with members of Leonardo’s inner-circle, including models Meghan Roche and Neelam Kaur Gill – who is dating one of his close friends.
Leonardo was previously linked to Gigi Hadid, 28, and 24-year-old Victoria Lamas – whose father said she was ‘smitten’ with the Hollywood heavyweight back in December.
Speaking to the New York Post at the time, he said: ‘I told her to treat the relationship like a holiday — just enjoy it as much as you can for as long as it lasts. And if it lasts for more than a typical holiday, great. But if not, then just guard your heart, you know? Because she’s very young.’
He has previously dated Camila Morrone, Nina Agdal, Kelly Rohrbach, Blake Lively, Rihanna, Gisele Bündchen, and Bar Refaeli – all of whom were 25 or under at the time.
