I got played by Temu – the ‘Louis Vuitton’ slides in my shopping haul were such a fail, it’s the fine print for me

A FASHION fan who fell for the temptations of Temu has admitted she was well and truly played by the retail brand.

Her “Louis Vuitton” slides that slipped into her shopping haul were a total fail.

It was, she admitted, all about the fine print for her.

But Kori (@korinicoleg), who has 57,000 followers on her TikTok, was able to laugh at her shopping debacle.

Despite her sorry experience, it has not put her off and she expects to be tempted by Temu again soon.

This lady loves nothing better than a bit of “glam and shopping.”

She had high expectations for her Temu haul, but that’s where the joy stopped for her.

“We know I love Temu but I also tell you when Temu plays me,” she said in her post.

First out was her green bag, $7.49. But it was not the size she had hoped for.

“I was played out of $16 and I can own that it was my fault,” she said.

“But I’ve learned when there are things that are name brand on Temu, you don’t wait, you just check out and you purchase

“And I failed this time. This isn’t the worst, but it’s way smaller than I expected.”

She could see some uses for it though: “My little fooey Louie. It’s giving wrist purse,” she said as she swung it around.

There were some pluses, however: “It does come with a strap inside, and it’s all black.”

She had lost a bunch of weight but the bag made her feel big again.

“Like I’m literally under 300 pounds now and this guy makes me feel like I’m back at 300 pounds.”

Next were her Louis Vuitton slides and they were a big disappointment.

“And then these?” she said incredulously. “We were good until you. Oh I was played. Bobo the fool,” she said.

She was almost speechless: “What? Like the patterns. It’s in the fine print for me. “

There was worse to come: “They kind of feel like they’re on the wrong foot. “

She was able to be philosophical though: “Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. I lost, thanks Temu. But I’m still going to shop there.”

Kori’s disappointment certainly gave her followers a laugh.

“Omg I’m laughing so hard, thank you,” said this person.

Another related to her experience: “I got the bag in pink, not impressed.”
