I found the perfect Christmas dress from M&S but trolls say it ‘couldn’t be any uglier’ – they’re crazy, it’s beautiful

A WOMAN has been left convinced she’s found the perfect dress for Christmas, but not everyone agrees. 

Gemma often uses her social media account to share tips and tricks on motherhood, but in one video she decided to share a fashion tip.

Showing the full length of the chiffon dress in the short clip, viewers could see it was a plain black number with multicoloured foil polka dots all over it. 

With a V-neckline and mid-length sleeves, the dress had a frilled bottom that gave it a bit of a festive flare. 

Zooming in on the polka dots, viewers could see how the sparkly features were stitched onto the delicate fabric. 

She then revealed it costs £49.50 for the dress. 

“POV: You found the perfect festive dress at M&S,” she wrote over the clip. 

TikTok user @bygemmalondon added in the caption: “When you find the most perfect christmas, festive dress at M&S. 

“I love this, its festive without being too over the top, it would look amazing with a jumper on top too. 

“Perfect for xmas parties, festive drinks and dinner and Christmas day.”

But the dress received mixed reviews as many flocked to the comments section to share their opinions. 

One person wrote: “There’s some really ok stuff in M&S at the moment but that’s not it,” followed by a crying with laughter emoji.

Another called it “vile” as a third shared: “It’s horrible”.

“That couldn’t be any uglier sorry,” a fourth said. 

And a fifth added: “Gemma if you’re not sixty and blind put the dress down you still have life in you.”

But Gemma was having none of it as she promptly replied: “You are crazy! It’s beautiful!” with a heart eyes emoji.
