SHOCKING footage has showed the moment a crowbar-wielding carjacker nicked a £70,000 Range Rover in under a minute.
The shameless thug brazenly carried out the disgraceful act around St John’s Wood in North West London.
The CCTV time stamp reveals the incident took place at around 5.30am on January 9 this year.
Reporting page ‘London and UK Street News’ uploaded the eye-popping footage on X, formerly Twitter.
“Range rover stolen from the NW8 area,” the caption reads.
The masked culprit is seen being dropped off by an accomplice on a motorbike who then approaches the black 4×4.
He then uses his crowbar to pull down the window.
Footage then catches the thief squirming into the driver’s seat and switching on the engine.
CCTV shows the carjacker fleeing out of shot, while his accomplice scoots away in the opposite direction.
The asking price for an average Range Rover in the UK is between £70,000 and £80,000.
The Sun has reached out to Met Police for comment.
Fortunately, there are several things drivers can do to make their car more secure.

It comes after dramatic Ring doorbell footage captured the moment a £35,000 BMW with a dog in the back was nabbed by thieves – before the elderly victim was hit with her own car.
The technology recorded the thief lurking outside the pensioner’s home in Bexleyheath, south east London on Wednesday morning.
Elsewhere, a stash of stolen luxury cars were unearthed just moments before being shipped by crooks.
The four SUVs – including an orange Jeep Wrangler worth roughly £50,000 and a blue Toyota Rav 4 valued at around £40,000 – were found by police in Essex on December 29.
Pictures taken at the scene showed how the thieves had used thick straps to hang two of the huge vehicles to the roofs of shipping containers.
And they also reveal how the criminals had used tyres to sandwich the other vehicles in place below them – which can weigh more than two tonnes.
Essex Police said the four vehicles, which had recently been stolen from London, were among 240 that they had managed to retrieve from criminals over the past year.
And they believe the value of all the motors they have recovered from over 60 containers during 2023 was in excess of £13million.
