A LUCKY Brit has scooped treble their neighbours’ prize in a £1.2million Postcode Lottery jackpot – becoming the biggest ever winner.

The lotto player in the Welsh spa town of Llandrindod Wells bought three tickets for the £3.2million Postcode Millions prize.

Everyone in the winning postcode gets a share of the whopping cash sum.

Each winning ticket in Llandrindod Wells was worth £403,638 – so the resident with three tickets came away with a whopping £1.2million.

The huge prize makes the lucky punter the Postcode Lottery’s biggest ever winner.

Other locals won cheques ranging from £4,305 to £17,220, depending on how many tickets they bought.

People’s Postcode Lottery presenter Matt Johnson said: “I couldn’t be more pleased for all our lucky players who’ve bagged themselves a prize today in Llandrindod Wells.

“What a great way to kick start the new year – no doubt there will be plenty of celebrations taking place.

“Congratulations Llandrindod Wells!”

Named online shopping capital of the UK by Royal Mail in 2018, “Dod” was also recently voted the happiest place in Wales.

Perhaps the huge Postcode Lottery jackpot will make locals even jollier, sparking a fresh click-and-collect frenzy.
