My makeup tip sounds crazy but makes your skin perfect – you’d think it would look greasy, but you get a healthy glow

PERFECTING that glassy finish when you’re doing your makeup can be a difficult feat.

However, one beauty fan’s unusual hack may just leave you with a glowing complexion.

In her video, Rachel Carlisle (@rachelmadisoncarlisle) revealed that she uses two unexpected products as a makeup primer.

“I swear your makeup will never look better,” the TikToker told her viewers in the caption of the clip.

She demonstrated the technique, which she called the “biggest trick to my makeup looking flawless and lasting all day.”

“If you’re not using liquid blush and face oil as your makeup primer then what are you doing?”

For her first step, Rachel lathered on her face oil and applied her liquid blush to the upper part of her face.

“This is definitely a trust the process moment,” she told her viewers as she blended the blush on her upper cheeks and forehead.

“You’re going to brighten after you do your blush everywhere on top of your face oil.”

Rachel explained that her method “keeps your face looking really healthy and glowy without looking glittery or gross, you’d think it would look greasy but it doesn’t.”

She pointed out that you don’t need as much foundation when using her technique.

“The face oil underneath makes everything blend together like a dream,” Rachel said.

“It makes your skin look so much better, you’re glowing.”

She told her audience that the face oil meant her cream contour “just glides on your skin, it’s truly magical.”

“Now we bake, it’s like your skin can get mattified but stay glowy at the same time and not look dry and patchy,” Rachel said.

For her final step, she added another dab of liquid blush on her upper cheeks.

“It may seem crazy but liquid blush on top of powder just looks amazing,” she said.

“I think it just makes your skin look so healthy and this lasts me all day whenever I do this.

“The whole routine just gives you the most flawless radiant finish that lasts you all day.”
