Still sporting some of the bruises from his draw with Clarke, Wardley wore an Ipswich shirt for the Old Farm derby.

He posted a picture of himself in their famous blue home shirt, while also wearing an Ipswich scarf and holding a flag.

Wardley wrote: “Uppa Town.”

The British champion later took his shirt off in the away end concourse, swinging it around his head.

He took time out to pose for pictures with fellow Ipswich fans.

And when he took to his seat, he couldn’t resist taunting the Norwich supporters.

Wardley could be seen having a bit of fun while giving it to the Canaries’ faithful.

Unfortunately for Wardley, his team went on to lose the crucial Championship clash 1-0.

Marcelino Nunez’s 39th minute free-kick was ultimately the difference between the two sides, as Norwich strengthened their grip on sixth.

Ipswich, meanwhile, lost top spot – with Leicester going a point clear while also possessing a game in hand after beating strugglers Birmingham 2-1.

Wardley and Co would later feel better, however, when Leeds lost 2-1 at Coventry – keeping Daniel Farke’s side third, a point behind Ipswich.

The boxing star was forced to receive medical attention following his gruesome war with Clarke at the 02 Arena last week.

He suffered a broken nose during the bout, and was leaking heavily with his face a “mess”.

Despite Wardley’s injuries, it was Clarke who looked the worse for wear upon the final bell.
