ONE woman was left feeling “traumatized” by an unexpected pregnancy symptom.
The expectant mother took matters into her own hands after noticing how much of her hair she was shedding every day.
In her viral video, Liel (@balayagebyliel) explained how her personal experience inspired her to start her own haircare brand Lia Organics.
The TikToker revealed that she was “picking [hair] up daily” and was “super depressed” about it.
She explained that seeing the clumps of hair on her shower floor felt “traumatizing.”
After giving birth, Liel researched the best way to regrow her postpartum locks.
When store-bought products didn’t appear to be working, the new mom came up with her own formula.
Liel said she was “starting to see results” after applying her two homemade serums to her scalp.
“The shedding immediately stopped and I started to see baby hairs sprouting out of my head,” she told her followers.
“It was like a miracle, I was so happy.”
After her friends and family noticed her improved locks, Liel was swamped with requests for her homemade mixtures.
She began to supply her whole group and eventually decided to officially open up shop.
Liel’s haircare line includes her $20 Hair Growth Oil as well as her $12.95 Rosemary Tonic.
She included clips in her video of the rosemary plants she grows and cultivates for her organic line.
The rosemary serum is described as helping to “reduce shedding and increase hair growth by stimulating blood circulation to the scalp.”
According to the experts at Health Line, an active ingredient in rosemary may be behind the plant’s regrowing properties.
They explained that carnosic acid has been found to “heal tissue and nerve damage.”

“This ability to heal nerve endings may rejuvenate nerves in the scalp too, in turn possibly restoring hair growth,” the professionals said.
Liel’s followers shared their thoughts on the products in the comments section.
“Nothing else has helped me fill in the spots and gaps in my hairline. Nothing! I have so much new growth too!!” wrote one impressed viewer.
“I’ve been dealing with this EXACT same thing for three years. I hate washing my hair or even brushing it because so much comes out. I’m glad to know I’m not alone,” said another TikTok user.
“Just bought some. Have lost over half my hair this last spring. Hoping this helps,” commented a third person.
