Stacey told the couple she could really see the potential of the house, and set about helping them to take on the work themselves.

Shariqa has expensive taste and despite the couple’s £10,000 budget, was desperate to install a pot filler into the kitchen, and tile the floors with marble.

Stacey suggested that the couple tile their floor with porcelain instead, as this would save them around £600, but Shariqa insisted on going for the more expensive material.

Although the tiles did end up looking stunning, following their installation, Shariqa said she would not recommend marble to anyone.
