Love Island’s Kady McDermott strips to her bikini as she admits she ‘didn’t recognise’ herself after villa weight gain

LOVE Island favourite Kady McDermott admitted that she “didn’t recognise herself” on the show.

The influencer told fans that she has been hitting the gym and cutting sugar after feeling “uncomfortable” in her own body.

Kady, 28, was answering Q&A questions from fans when she was quizzed about exercises she would recommend for weight loss.

She shared a recent holiday snap of her looking toned in a brown bikini.

Above the photo, she answered the question very honestly.

“Sorry if this is too personal but what exercises/routine have you been doing to lose weight,” the fan asked.

“Getting this question daily atm haha it’s fine. I’ve always been tiny but last year actually when I was on LI I put on a bit of weight due to numerous reasons and I felt really uncomfortable watching myself back,” she replied.

“I didn’t recognise myself so I’ve been hitting the gym 4 times a week with a PT twice a week and been eating really clean on a low sugar and high protein diet.

“Luckily it doesn’t take me long to get back in shape,” she added.

This comes after Kady risked triggering a new feud with Mitch Taylor after growing close to his ex-girlfriend Ella Barnes.

Ella and Kady marked their friendship by heading to Ibiza for a girly holiday.

Staying at a luxury resort on the party island, Kady and Ella were also joined by other Love Island icons including Liv Hawkins, Cally Jane Beech and Jess Harding, as well as Orla Duffy and Ella Burley.

Soon they were sipping sangria on the poolside and sharing photos of their getaway. 

Heading to Glitterbox for the evening, the girl squad glammed up as they hit the town for a party to end all parties.

Sharing a clip of the girls together before they left their resort, Kady showed the girls dancing to Jamiroquai track Space Cowboy.

It seems the song had an influence on her outfit, with her wearing a silver bodysuit, glittery silver miniskirt with matching silver cowboy boots.

Ella and Kady were later shown having a blast in the VIP section, dancing the night away in the crowded room.

The pair getting close comes after Kady had an explosive fallout with Mitch Taylor, at one point even threatening legal action. 

Mitch and Kady had an almighty falling out after Love Island’s season 10, with Mitch accusing bombshell Kady – who originally appeared in the second series of the show – of having a secret boyfriend on the outside. 

This sparked a series of back and forth Instagram Stories in where Mitch accused Kady of “lying about him on podcasts” and defending his actions in the villa. 

In response, Kady said she “never thought of him unless she’s asked to”. 

Later on, Mitchell reignited the feud after Love Island All Stars, aiming one of his first posts after leaving the villa at her. 

He wrote: “I’ve had my phone back 3 hours, no way Kady is still talking about me.”

In a final post, Kady responded to Mitch and his team over his online behaviour, stating: “This is the last thing I will be saying on my story about this individual before I start having to invoice him for my time.”

She then went on to claim she had threatened legal action against him.
