THERE’S nothing worse than going clothes shopping and struggling to find anything that fits.
Not only is it literally draining – taking on and off multiple items is not the funniest of activities – but it’s also mentally very draining too.
Accepting that your ordinary size doesn’t fit and having to size up can be disheartening for many.
And that’s what happened to one woman, Lillian-Mae Wicks, on a recent trip to Tk Maxx, where she tried on a variety of Zara dresses.
Lillian picked up four stunning Zara dresses and headed to the Tk Maxx changing rooms to see how they looked.
But she was immediately gutted after trying the items on and realised that although they were her normal size, a size 14, none of them fit.

Not only did the dresses not fit, but Lillian explained that they were hugging her body in all the wrong places.
And what’s more, the dresses did not fit her boobs either.
Lillian uploaded the Zara haul try-on video with the caption ‘Don’t let clothes shopping get you down!’
After her nightmare haul, this fashion fan wants to encourage people not get too bogged down on clothes not fitting properly.

She said: “Super quick, super realistic clothing haul of a mid-size girl that fits in absolutely nothing.
“These were all a large, they are all from Zara and they were all in Tk Maxx and they all fit so different.”

First up, Lillian tried on a glam red mini dress, but was gutted when she realised it was too tight.
She explained: “The first one I loved but I just didn’t love on me.”
The second one, this time a blue mini dress, was a similar situation.
The fashionista added: “It hugged me in all the wrong places and it was just so tight.
“It was a size 14, it doesn’t make any sense, that’s my normal size.”
As a big-busted girl, Lillian claimed that her boobs never seem to fit in Zara clothes.
She stated: “Also my boobs fit in absolutely nothing from Zara, ever.
“They do not cater for big-busted girls whatsoever.”
The third one – this time a silver ruched mini dress – was another disappointment.
She continued: “This one didn’t even do up and this was an XL from Zara.
“It’s just really disheartening, it’s crazy, sizes just don’t exist.”
And finally, Lilian tried on a white cut-out summer dress and was again disappointed, but this time, it was way too big.
Lilian added: “This one, again, Zara, was just too big. Same size, same brand, just makes no sense.
“I’m not gunna lie, it did make me feel like s**t afterwards.
“However, I tried on these shorts, they were the last thing I tried on and they said this [you got this] in the back and I have got this, and so have you.”
Lillian’s realness has clearly impressed many, as in just 16 hours, her video has quickly racked up 10.6k views and 500 likes.
Other fashion fans found it refreshing that Lillian was showing the harsh reality of going clothes shopping and many revealed that they also have had the same experience many times before.
One person said: “Thank you for being real.”
Another added: “I have the same problem but with jeans I swear every single pair I own are all different sizes. So annoying”.

A third commented: “Relate to this, sending two parcels back that don’t fit – One Large, One XL and ended up wearing Zara Blazer size S at the weekend! Wtf.”
Someone else added: “Every time I find something from Zara in Tk Maxx the sizing is absolutely awful..”
