Valve’s new Steam Deck is shocking fans with a number of fantastic upgrades for PC gamers

SINCE February 2022, PC gamers have been able to level up their game by taking their games on the go.

Valve began selling the Steam Deck, a handheld PC which is built specifically to house and play games from the Steam library.

It was a huge success, with the original models having a long waiting list as people lined up to buy one.

There are a few issues that players had with the launch that Valve could have improved on.

The battery life was the biggest issue, as when playing intensive games, the Deck’s battery would last just one or two hours.

These big-budget games also made the console more likely to overheat, sometimes making it too hot to handle.

Addressing all of these issues, Valve has just announced a new model of Steam Deck that comes with a number of upgrades.

Called the Steam Deck OLED, the new system’s highlight is the gorgeous OLED screen, which gives the model its name.

OLED screens have huge advantages over LCD screens, with more vibrant colours and crisper images.

It also comes with a new processor, which is smaller and more energy efficient, increasing battery life, and decreasing overheating.

The battery is also slightly larger, and Valve hopes that the new model will boost battery life by 30-50%.

There is also a new 1TB model, which has twice the storage capacity of the largest LCD model.

With the release of the new model, there has also been a price drop on one of the older models.

You can now pick up the old 256GB model for cheaper than the 64GB model’s price from just a few days ago.

The 256GB LCD model is just £349 ($399) now, which is more than £100 cheaper than it was recently, and it will continue to be sold alongside the new OLED models.

The other two sizes of Steam Deck’s older model are still available while supplies last, with 64GB selling for £309 ($349) and the 512GB model for £389 ($449).

There are two different OLED models: the 516GB model will retail for £479 ($549), and the 1TB model is £569 ($649).

In the US, there will also be a Limited Edition OLED model with a translucent shell that will cost $679.

The new Steam Deck OLED models will go on sale from Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 6pm UK Time / 10am PT, and the Limited Edition variant is expected to sell out quickly.
