A PLUS size fashionista has been praised by fans for her ‘relatable and chaotic’ outfit video after spotting a realistic fail.
Poppy Adams, who lives in Edinburgh, regularly shares her shopping hauls and styling tips on Instagram (@poppyadams).
The glam body-positive influencer, originally from Essex, has amassed 278k followers on TikTok where she aims to inspire fans to “love and accept their bodies”.
And fans loved her relatable ‘get ready with me’ Instagram video after she suffered two outfit fails.
She glammed up in a black and purple pattern skirt with a long-sleeved black crop top, which she paired with a green blazer and black boots.
But she said it was “all going wrong” after her first choice outfit had a stain on the top and the second option got covered in white fluff.
After putting the long skirt on, Poppy pulled out a plain, brown t-shirt, but she wasn’t impressed after spotting a small stain on the front.
Shen then switched it for the black crop top and styled it with some gold jewellery.
However, it all went wrong again when she tried on a thick black leather coat that looked like it was lined with white faux fur.
Not sold on how it looked, Poppy took it off to find her top was covered in white fluff all across the sleeves.

After a quick clean, she rolled with it and threw on the back boots and a gorgeous dark green blazer jacket.
Happy with the finished look, she added a scarf and black bag and headed out for the night.
Poppy captioned the video: “A v chaotic get ready with me – it was all going wrong today, turned out okay in the end tho!”
Fans praised Poppy for the chaotic outfit, with many calling her an inspiration for being real in her videos.
One person said: “I love that you don’t just put on an outfit and it works. I always have dramas like something ripped or stained or doesn’t fit. It’s good seeing others experiencing that on videos”.
