With Tony Bellew and Sam Thompson battling it out to take the coveted title, their co-stars could be seen sat in the studio cheering them on.

Sam Thompson was decalred the champion in an emotional final result.

However, there were two notable absences as there with only eight former campmates being present.

Eagle-eyed fans would have noticed that both MasterChef star Grace Dent and Zoey 101 actress and Britney Spears‘ sister Jamie-Lynn Spears were both missing.

Neither of them were present at the final to see which of their former campmates would take the crown.

Both Grace and Jamie-Lynn quit the series on ‘medical grounds’ within days of each other and before the public votes began.

Grace left the camp and jetted straight back to the UK after learning that she had been voted to partake in another Bushtucker Trial.

The food critic said she was ‘overwhelmingly sad’ about her departure and said she is now trying to recover.

Writing after she quit camp, she said: “I am overwhelmingly sad right now, but determined to keep alive in my heart the huge personal breakthroughs I made over the weeks.”

She went on to list her achievements, mentioning the heavy rain – which many think could have played a part in both her and Jamie Lynn’s exits.

“I spent 15 days without a phone or any contact with loved ones, living much of the time outdoors in a rain forest in very wet weather,” she wrote.

“It gave me a short, sharp glimpse into the pain some folk worldwide endure. Normal life, forever, will always feel beautiful.

Having had an emotional time in the camp, Jamie-Lynn followed suit as she walked at the end of a tense day before flying home to America to be with her husband and two children.

Jamie said to her fans after her hasty exit from camp: “I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.

“THANK Y’ALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows.”

Neither Jamie-Lynn or Grace took part in pre-recorded video messages in which they expressed their support for Tony and Sam as they waited for the final result.
