FERNE McCann’s fiance has been told off by followers for ‘forcing’ his baby girl to start crawling.
Lorri Haines posted a video on his Instagram account demonstrating his attempt to get little Finty to crawl for the first time.
He captioned the clip: “Does Finty crawl or fail?”
The dad started off by propping her up in the right position to start scooting along, and voiced over the video saying: “I think she’s going to do it.
“She’s up, arms strong, legs are moving. Go on move forward! Yes you can do it!”
Then as she flopped down onto her face a caption came up on the screen saying ‘FAIL’ in big letters.

The Dubai-based businessman received some backlash after posting the video from followers who felt he was being unfair to his daughter.
One concerned person wrote: “I hope in your eyes you will never see her as a failure. So much pressure for babies to be ‘advanced’, enjoy today with her and whatever that brings rather than setting her up to ‘fail’.”
Someone else hit out: “She’s not strong enough let alone old enough to!”
A third added: “Far too young to be crawling, let poor Finty wait until she is ready.”

A fourth agreed: “She will do it wen she’s ready she doesn’t need to be forced.”
Lorri has come under fire before during an appearance on My Family and Me with Ferne.
Some viewers branded him a “control freak” after scenes where he “belittled her” by telling her off in front of their business team.
Other ‘red flags’ for fans were when he told her he didn’t want to have sex any more and argued with her when he hadn’t slept enough.
