I have 28J boobs – my first bikini review of the year was a fail, but a DIY hack helped with lift & support

IF you’re sick of the cold weather and looking forward to the summer it may be time for some retail therapy.

One fashion fan has shared her first bikini review of the year but the result wasn’t what she expected.

In her video, Jen Warnes (@itsjenwarnes) modeled the two-piece for her followers.

The TikToker purchased the $114 Stella Bikini Top and the $84 Cabana Bikini Bottoms, both in the color Palm, from L*Space.

“First bigger [chested] bikini review of 2024,” Jen captioned the review.

Despite wearing a cup size 28J, she was only able to purchase the look in a DD.

“That was the biggest cup I could get,” Jen explained to her viewers.

As she has a bigger cup and a smaller band size combination, she was hesitant about the fit of the top.

“I’m a bit conscious that the band is already going to be too big,” Jen revealed.

“This is annoying, even if I put it on the tightest I could fit a whole other person in there,” she said, showing her audience the wide-fitting band.

“This is just the story of my life and I hate it,” she told her followers.

“The thing is the cup is actually a decent size, the back is just so big that it’s just not doing anything, it’s just floating on top of my chest, it’s not actually supporting anything,” Jen explained.

“A lot of us need a big cup with an XS band and this is just not doing it,” she added.

Jen decided to use her go-to fashion hack to improve the fit of the bikini top.

“I used to do this all the time with my bikinis, it’s just the only way that I could find a cup big enough that fit,” she said as she tied the band.

“Already the support from tying the band just feels more secure, it’s more lifted, it’s just doing more for me than just sitting on top of me,” she explained.

Jen recommended the $99 Camellia Bikini Top, also from L*Space, instead.

“It gave way more support, the fit which is so much better,” she told her audience.

“I was hoping for something that felt like that in this one but it’s just not anywhere close so it’s a bit of a fail for the first review of the year,” Jen concluded.

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on Jen’s review.

“It’s so annoying having to tie it too! Makes it so uncomfortable on your back when trying to lounge,” wrote one viewer.

“My friends always have the cutest swimwear and I just struggle to find one that fits,” said another follower.

“It’s so annoying that swimwear usually just comes in XS-XL instead of actual bra sizes,” commented a third person.
