This is the shocking moment a suspected robber allegedly poured petrol on a shop worker and chased them around a store.
Footage shows a masked man dressed in a grey hoodie and black trousers entering the shop holding what appears to be a petrol canister.
The incident happened at the Beechwood Convenience Store in Grimsby, at 6.30am on January 9.
The vendor was restocking milk when he was approached by the alleged robber, who then appeared to tip the fuel over him.
The worker, dressed in a blue puffer jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and a cap, backed away before running across the aisles in an attempt to avoid him.
The alleged attacker then continued to chase the man around the store, before following him outside.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on bail with conditions whilst Humberside Police continue their enquiries.
A spokesperson for the force said: ‘The incident happened at around 6.30am when a man reportedly entered the shop and threw petrol at a staff member before threatening him with a knife and a lighter.
‘The suspect then allegedly took a drawer from the till, containing cash, and fled the premises.’
The force is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has information about it or any footage that may help them with their enquiries to call their non-emergency 101 line quoting log 65 of 9 January.
