FOOD lovers are in a frenzy after discovering you can get a Subway at a drive-thru.
Twin brothers Kevin and Kieran D’Arcy, from Glasgow, were driving through Yorkshire when they stumbled across the takeout spot at Guisborough.
Sharing the find with their 87,000 followers on TikTok (@thedarcytwins), they said: “This is Subway but it’s no ordinary Subway, it’s a Subway drive-thru.
“I’m so bloody excited for this. Why is there not more Subway drive-thrus?
“Now I don’t even know where the hell we are, but if this is your local Subway be proud of it.”
But the brothers did admit there was a “slightly annoying” catch about the drive-thru – there were no sauces or salad toppings listed on the outside menus.
They added: “Whoever you’ve got in the car with you who isn’t used to Subway will result in this [the cashier being forced to read them out].
“It turned something that was supposed to be fast into something that took forever.
“That is right, they went through every single salad option and every single sauce.
“Nevertheless we jumped to the next window to pick our food up which cost us £20. Since when has Subway been this expensive?

“One major plus which makes it priceless is the lack of social interaction.
“That is right, we went to the drive-thru just to park up right outside the Subway.”
Sharing their video to TikTok, the duo said: “Have you ever seen a drive thru Subway?!
“This is crazy that they have it in the North East in Guisborough. Scotland should take note.”
The brothers’ clip has racked up more than 24,000 views since it was posted on Sunday, and Subway fans are going wild for it.
“That’s amazing…never knew this was a thing”, gushed one.
Another said: “Damn we need one of these.”
A third wrote: “OH MY GOD.”

Meanwhile a fourth insisted: “I’d be here every single day. I’m addicted to Subway salads.”
There are 2,176 Subway stores across the UK. The sandwich giant opened their first drive-thru spot in Swindon in 2019.
