A WOMAN was left feeling under par this morning as a Volkswagen Golf landed on her garage roof.
Cleveland police, fire and ambulance attended the scene in Stockton where a car was forced off the road and onto a roof at around 10.20am yesterday.
Silver Lightowler said: “I was in the kitchen and I saw a piece of wood fly past my window and then heard a loud bang, came out and there was a car on the roof of my garage.”
Mrs Lightowler claimed that four men fled the scene after they crashed through a wooden fence just above her house, also damaging her car in the process.
She said: “Four men climbed out of the car and were arguing amongst themselves, they all just ran off.
“They were so wound up about the situation, because they said they had been run off the road”.

She added: “I’m not happy.
“It’s not how I thought our Saturday would go.”
