THRIFTING can often feel like a treasure hunt but one woman revealed she happened to strike gold.
She was able to walk away with vintage designer goods for 90 percent off.
Laura (@lauramvila) shared her thrift haul in a video with over 30,000 TikTok followers.
“I just had an insane thrifting day starting with this Gucci watch,” she said, showing off a gold-rimmed watch with a $29.99 price tag.
“I love the size of it and the gold for $30, it is so pretty.”
The men’s watch can be found on resell sites such as Etsy for upwards of $280.
Laura was also able to pick up a teal Hermes Rivale Mini bracelet at a heavily discounted price.
The bracelet retails for $510 but Laura was able to pick it up for a tiny fraction of the price.
“Such great leather, as you know, Hermes always nails their leather. So beautiful,” she said.
“It was $50 but 50% off today on sale so this was my grand total.”

Laura shared her receipt, with the two items coming to a little over $58 after tax.
People were shocked by her find but some were worried about purchasing designer goods from the thrift.
“How do you know it’s authentic?” asked one commenter.
Laura explained that proper thrifting came with a lot of work.
“Lots of research! I’ve been doing this for a while so I’ve learned a lot,” she said.
“If I have a doubt, I use professional authentication like Real Authentication.”
