Music’s most talented stars turned out in force this evening for the 2024 Grammy Awards, which kicked off on a very glamorous note courtesy of its red carpet arrivals – while also sticking to Hollywood tradition by featuring a host of sartorial disasters that brought more disaster than drama to the otherwise-prestigious event.

Within moments of the red carpet commencement, the stylish soiree had been blighted by a series of fashion fails, from garish patterns and color explosions to horrifyingly revealing gowns and silly silhouettes.

The ever-daring Doja Cat led the list of worst-dressed at the event, where she suffered a disastrous fashion fail by flashing her nipple to photographers in a complete see-through nude gown, which also exposed every inch of the many tattoos across her body.

And then there was Chrissy Teigen, who dropped jaws for all the wrong reasons when she stepped out on the red carpet wearing a micro mini dress that featured a black strapless bodice – and an enormous flower-style tutu that gave the ensemble an incredibly comical feel.

Model Charlotte Lawrence led the worst dressed list at the 2024 Grammys, wearing a navy lace dress that turned completely transparent as soon as she stepped in front of the cameras, revealing far too much flesh

Actress Kat Graham looked baffling in her optical illusion style dress, which gave the impression of baring some serious skin - and featured a confusing cape style panel to protect her modesty in the front

Up-and-coming musician Ayra Starr also fell prey to the flesh flashing curse - with her very risque ensemble leaving far too little to the imagination, appearing more tacky than glamorous

While the sky-high hemline made it look as though the model had perhaps forgotten part of her outfit at home, to make matters worse, she also appeared to be wearing shoes that were several sizes too big for her.

Model Charlotte Lawrence wore what might have appeared to be an elegant ensemble at first glance – but as soon as she stepped in front of the cameras, her navy lace gown turned completely transparent, revealing far too much flesh as well as her black underwear.

Elsewhere, other attendees turned the red carpet into something of a clown show thanks to their garish color combinations.

Singing sensation Sheila E was among the first major names to make an appearance on the carpet – making a very bold statement in a garish checkered sequin suit that featured all the colors of the rainbow and was so bright it is a wonder the waiting photographers didn’t require sunglasses.

She paired the look with a pair of silver sequin sneakers that did little to distract from the clown-ish nature of the suit – however she was by no means the only celebrity to miss the mark with their rainbow creations, with several stars falling short of glamour and leaning more towards circus style.

Next up was Yolanda Adams, whose neon pink suit jacket was difficult enough to look at courtesy of the vibrant color, but the addition of rose embellishments made it all the more tricky to take in.

Like Sheila, Yolanda chose to pair the vibrant garment with sequins, adding a disco-inspired pair of gold glittering pants, which might have hit the mark had they been worn with something slightly less painful for the eyes.

Larkin Poe singers Rebecca and Megan Lovell kept the circus theme very much alive with their striped rainbow suits

Sara Gazarek resembled a human pinata thanks to the enormous tulle train that surrounded her over-the-top gown

Lauren Daigle also turned up in an enormous tulle ensemble, which was held together with rainbow thread that appeared to have been DIY-ed just moments before she stepped onto the carpet

It was not just the ladies causing chaos with their colorful creations, Jacob Collier also proved an eyesore in his patchwork suit that blended every fabric pattern imaginable

Australian musician Montaigne also opted for a costume-style ensemble that mixed French renaissance with cowboy girl - and looked disastrous as a result

Summer Walker caused a serious stir in a feathered gown that can only be described as 'Big Bird bridal' and was made even more outrageous with the addition of a matching feathered hat

Feathers were a firm favorite among this year's worst-dressed guests - although Coi Leray chose to carry her garish green feathered jacket so as not to conceal what was an incredibly revealing outfit

YouTube star Ve'ondre Mitchell took the Valentine's Day theme way too far in her over-the-top heart-embellished frock, which left her looking like a Bratz doll

Eryn Allen Kane (pictured) looked as though she had borrowed Carrie's blood-soaked prom dress - after taking a pair of scissors to it - while early winner Tyla flashed far too much flesh in her garish green gown

Eryn Allen Kane looked as though she had borrowed Carrie’s blood-soaked prom dress – after taking a pair of scissors to it – stepping out onto the red carpet in a strapless white gown that featured a puffball skirt and a long train, not dissimilar to something that you might expect to see on a wedding dress.

The silhouette did little to flatter her figure but it was the red stain across the top which, paired with some tacky beaded embellishments, brought the whole look down even further.

Several guests appeared to have confused the red carpet for a costume party, with Mexican singer Paty Cantú sporting an ensemble that could well have been mistaken for a pirate wench outfit that one might were for Halloween.

Then there was Australian musician Montaigne, who appeared to take inspiration both from the French renaissance and the wild west – wearing a bizarre ruffled color and page boy-style shorts over printed tights, completing the look with a pair of red cowboy boots.

But far from blending the elements seamlessly, the whole look was more eye-sore than elegant.
