Xbox fans are vowing to leave the platform forever after shocking in-game reveal

THERE have been rumours that a number of Xbox exclusives could be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in the future.

The first games mentioned in the rumours were Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, but it seems that more games could be added to the list.

Xbox has not officially announced this, but people looking into the code of Hi-Fi Rush saw some new interesting items.

In the game’s code people found blue and red shirts that are not currently available in the game.

Shirts exclusive to Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store were just announced, so it makes sense that these two shirts will be exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo.

This find at least seems to confirm that Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to other platforms, though if other games will be joining it is still unknown.

More in Xbox

Alongside the original group of rumours, some people are now saying that heavy hitters like Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could also potentially come to other platforms.

Xbox players have not responded well to the news, believing that it could be the end of Xbox as a console.

They see this move as Microsoft reducing its support for Xbox consoles, and the company focusing on games in the future.

One user changed their Metacritic review writing: “Originally I gave Hi-Fi Rush a 10/10, but I must formally retract my perfect score.

“This is due to the fact that the data leak confirms that the game is no longer exclusive to the Xbox and PC platform.

“As the Xbox faithful, we have dedicated our time and money to make Xbox the best place to play games, and we’re letting our most beloved titles be catered to 3rd world consoles.

“Horrible news for Xbox gamers and the industry as a whole. Shame on Phil Spencer and company.”

Another user took to Twitter to say: “I would not be shocked to see class action lawsuits spawn out of this whole Xbox mess.

“If everything said is true, then Xbox deliberately and directly misled and falsely advertised to consumers.

“Seems pretty cut and dry to me.”

It seems that Xbox fans are extremely against this change, although Xbox’s motto has long been about giving more people more ways to play.
