A WOMAN has warned against using fleece leggings to keep warm after they made her end up in the doctors office.
Sara Puhto, from the UK, took to social media to share the massive mistake and it seemed she wasn’t the only one affected.
Most of us are looking for ways to keep warm without the heating until winter is over.
And people have come up with some ingenious ways to do that, from putting cardboard on floors for extra insulation, to bubble wrapping windows to keep the cold air out.
But plenty of other folk have also found ways to keep their body warm rather than their home – whether it’s electric blankets or the popular Snoodie’s.

Sara also tried a popular trend that has been praised for keeping you toasty – fleece-lined leggings.

While many people rave about them, it seems they can lead to some pretty unpleasant side effects.
Sarah revealed: “Deinfluencing I guess,” as she explained what they did to her.
In the short clip posted to TikTok, the blonde beauty held up her fleece leggings as she sarcastically gave them a kiss.

“When I thought that buying warm leggings would help me save on the heating bill.”
However, Sara revealed that wasn’t the case and they ended up costing her more than she bargained for – and still had the heating on.

She continued: “But instead I wasted £17 because I got thrush from them AND had to spend £15 on meds AND turn my heating back on.”
Sara laid down on her bed as she dished the tea on the pain her winter warmer hack caused, but she wasn’t the only one.
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @sarapuhto with over 76k views and 3,000 likes.
Plenty of women took to the comments to share they had similar experiences and how to get around it.
One person wrote: “I got thrush from fleece leggings too.”

Another commented: “Oh was that why I was uncomfy in my fleece leggings.”
“I’m okay with wearing them but a friend of mine cuts the crotch out so it’s more breathable,” penned a third.
“No because that is next level GENIUS,” Sara exclaimed.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I’m actually crying but man I’m so sorry that sucks so bad.”
“Omg yes HARD relate,” claimed a fifth.
