After amassing millions of fans, the Claudia Winkleman-fronted show will be back next year for a third series.

And one contestant has revealed a strategy to ensure potential faithfuls and traitors make it to the final.

Fay, who appeared on the very first series, said it’s paramount that contestants make notes of everything – and keep their game plan under wraps.

The 62-year-old Ipswich explained: “Every day I had a journal and when it’s late at night you write everything down, write your whole day down.

“Write key points down because there’s no way if you get to episode 10, 11 you can’t remember who banished who at the round table and who was murdered on day two.

“You need to reflect. Write and reflect, it’s key.”

The reality star was speaking to beauty blogger Scott McGlynn as she reflected on her time on the show.

Fay continued: “You need to try and not travel with the same person, you need to share it around so when you get into the jeeps you need to get in with different people.

“These are all things in hindsight, I’m looking at the shows I must’ve seen seven different traitors programmes and you need to switch it up a lot.

“You need to mix it up and listen to what other people are saying.

“Don’t discuss your strategy. If I hadn’t have discussed my strategy I might have been there until the end.”

“I think you can win it, you really can,” she said before adding: “You need to introduce yourself to people but don’t be too out there.

“The people that don’t say a lot get to the final and then they pipe up at the end.”

It comes after BBC bosses extended the application deadline for the third series of The Traitors.

Hopefuls have until Sunday, March 17th to apply via the Beeb’s website.

Harry Clark came out on top in the latest series and bagged a whopping £95,000 in the process.
