MANY parents want to give their little one a unique name in a bid to help them stand out – but one mum might’ve taken it a step too far.
She revealed the name she chose for her newborn with her husband, and asked for help picking a middle name to go with it.
Things took a turn when she shared the tot’s first name on Facebook though, and she was savagely rinsed for the unusual choice.
‘I’m having my third girl in the fall and my husband and I love Shoulder as a first name but can’t agree on a middle name,” the post read.
Unsurprisingly, other Facebook users were stunned by the name and rinsed the mum and dad for the name.
And unfortunately for the parents, they got no serious suggestions for middle names at all.

Some people thought “knees and toes” would be the perfect middle names when paired with Shoulder.
Others suggestions included: N’juree, Pads, Barge, Armpit and Impingment.
“Shoulder Blade of course! Such a timeless and feminine name,” one person even joked.
“If she ever stops speaking to someone she’ll be giving them the cold Shoulder,” someone else commented.

Meanwhile, other people didn’t see the funny side of things and slammed the mum and dad for not thinking of their daughter’s future.
“Do these parents understand that the kid has to live with the name?” they wrote.
A second agreed: “No words! I can’t believe people name their kids like this. It’s madness the registers office should be able to refuse.”
This isn’t the only time parents have come under fire for picking unique names though.
Posting in the same Facebook group a mum asked if naming her daughter Disney would be a tragedy.
“If you have to ask, then yes,” someone slammed.
Meanwhile, someone else revealed their friend named their kids Sighnytore and Dysehndynt, leaving people in hysterics.
“So I have a friend that named their kid Sighnytore (Signature) and Dysehndynt (descendant) and yes I am being serious.
“The whole family is like that her sister named her son Kyngdum (Kingdom).
“I would absolutely hate to have to call one of those names out with out hearing it first.”
People were stunned by the names and shamed the parents for picking them.
One person commented on the post: “Signature just sounds so stupid as a name. Like why is that even an option?”
“Those poor kids, I bet they’ll all change them when they’re old enough,” a second chimed in.
“Those kids will never be able to spell their names,” another said.
