Nikki Haley says ‘there’s a reason pilots can’t fly after 65’ as she rips into Trump’s age AGAIN and insists he is more focused on his $400 gold sneakers than the American people

Nikki Haley made yet another argument for why President Joe Biden, 81, and former President Donald Trump, 77, are both too old for another term in office.

The 52-year-old presidential hopeful mentioned other careers with age caps of 65 – like pilots and military officers.

Haley also argued during a NewsNation interview on Tuesday evening that Republican frontrunner Trump is distracted. She mentioned his mind being on his multiple lawsuits and non-campaign-related ventures, like his new golden sneakers that retail for $399, rather than doing what’s best for Americans.

The issue of age comes amid rising concerns specifically over Biden’s fitness for office after a DOJ report released this month labels the president as an ‘elderly man’ with a ‘poor memory’ and ‘diminished faculties.’

Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded he would not recommend charging Biden in the classified documents case because a jury would be hesitant to convict a man who they do not believe has the ‘mental state of willfulness’ to commit a ‘serious felony.’

‘I think if you ask any doctor, they will tell you that when you are getting in your 80s, you are prone to having that [dementia],’ Haley told NewsNation when asked about the mental state of Biden and Trump at their advanced ages.

‘Look, there’s a reason pilots can’t fly after 65. There’s a reason military – they make you retire before 65,’ the former United Nations Ambassador added. ‘We have serious issues.’

‘None of that is normal behavior from either one of them,’ she said in reference to Biden allowing open borders and focusing on gender pronouns in schools and Trump ‘mocking military members’ by questioning the whereabouts of her deployed husband.

‘What I’m saying is Americans are saying in polls 70 percent that they want normal again, they don’t want chaos. They don’t want this mess,’ she added.

While both Biden and Trump’s ages come increasingly into question, Haley is also questioning the priorities of the former president amid a flurry of lawsuits and figuring out how to continue bank rolling his life and legal battles.

At a sneaker conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania over the weekend, Trump unveiled his $399 pair of golden shoes called the Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker.

‘This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years, and I think it’s going to be a big success,’ Trump said during remarks at Sneaker Con Philadelphia.

President Joe Biden, 81, has faced increasing questions over his fitness for office after a DOJ report described him as an 'elderly man' with a 'poor memory' and 'diminished faculties.'

Haley says this is just another avenue for him to bring in money.

‘He’s not focused on the American people,’ Haley told NewsNation. ‘He’s focused on the sneakers.’

‘I think you can tell that from his campaign reports – he spent $50 million of campaign contribution on his personal court cases. Think about that.’

‘I mean, look at where all his attention is going’ she added. ‘Look at his tweets, look at the gold shoes, look at the campaign contributions – everything is about his court cases.’

‘How are you going to focus on the American people, when you are completely distracted about your court cases? That is the point I’m trying to make. We can’t afford that,’ Haley said.

‘We can’t have a presidential candidate who’s going on and on about the victim that he is and focusing on how he’s going to pay for his legal fees and not focusing on the American people.’

Trump’s new sneakers were unveiled the day after a New York judge ordered him to pay $355 million as part of a civil fraud case alleging Trump Organization inflated the value of their properties.
