This is the shocking moment that a mass brawl broke out at Waterloo Station – with police officers getting caught up in the chaos as they attempted to stop the violence.

The terrifying footage shows hooded men jumping over barriers at one of the UK’s busiest stations.

A group of men begin punching and shoving each other as several officers try to intervene and break up the fighting.

One policeman falls over and looks to be trampled on by the crowd.

More officers then start to emerge from the other side of Waterloo Station before forming a cordon as the group disperses.

Liverpool Street Station replaced Waterloo as the UK’s busiest station, mainly thanks to the opening of the Elizabeth Line.

Waterloo still has 57.8 million entries and exits each year, putting it third behind Paddington. 

The brawl is the latest instalment in a series of Lawless London incidents plaguing the capital.

The man then ceased his assault and picked up a backpack, leaving the other man on the ground.
