A TOW truck driver has shared a day in the life of his busy job, from blocked fire lanes to “crazy” evictions.

The YouTuber, who shares the “100% reality” of the tow-trucking business in his videos, calls it the “only solution” to parking problems.

In a recent video, trucker Johnny (@towtruckeryt), captured himself towing a car blocking a fire lane at an apartment complex.

He was called to remove the car by the complex manager.

The Dodge can be seen parked in the fire lane, mapped out with a painted red curb.

First, Johnny backed up his truck to align with the car, attached the chains to the Dodge, and slowly pulled it up the truck’s ramp.

“That’s what you get for parking in a fire lane,” he said while driving off swiftly with the car in tow.

“The manager here, she will yank your car – no questions asked.”

Next, he headed over to the site of what commenters called a “crazy” home eviction.

Two cars needed to be removed from the back of the home – a Cadillac and a Chevrolet S-10.

Piles of belongings could be seen in the front yard and the tow trucker was informed that three vehicles had already been towed.

Johnny proceeded to back up his tow truck, but could not easily maneuver to the back of the home.

In the end, they had to call a different truck.

“That eviction was crazy,” one viewer wrote in the comments.

“No excuse for parking in the fire lane. So many open parking spots,” another said.

“Go Johnny go! Non consensual towing, it’s what we do!” a third wrote.

“Dude, you can back that big ol’ truck anywhere,” someone else said.

“Props to you Johnny.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to the YouTuber for comment.

HEFTY TOWING BILL

Being on the other end of a towing isn’t fun.

This was the case for Lawrence Wesson, who was charged more for his car’s towing than he was initially told.

While DoorDashing on a cold night, he hit a patch of ice and spun out.

His car faced damages that forced him to call for a tow truck.

A local towing company was called to take Wesson’s car back to his house, but the driver informed him that the drive was too risky.

“I will not risk ruining a $100,000 truck for a couple of hundred dollars,” said the driver.

Instead, the driver offered to take it to his impound lot for around $150.

When Wesson went to pick up his car, he was shocked when the driver handed him a bill for $796.29.

The bill included many fees that are legally allowed, but some of the charges from the towing company were not on the list of those considered legal by the Corporation Commission.

“I told the guy I’d put it in my lot and I wouldn’t impound it. I would just hold it till Wednesday. It’d be $250 at that point,” said the driver.

He claimed that Wesson failed to pick up his car until 5 pm on Friday, so he proceeded to charge him the fees.
