This is the moment a gang of robbers beat a man to the ground and reportedly stole thousands of pounds worth of his jewellery ‘like a pack of hyenas’.
In a video posted to Instagram, a large group of people can be seen gathering on the side of a street in Sheffield.
The footage begins with the person videoing crossing the road to get a better look at the mayhem.
The mobs can then be seen standing over the the person, shouting at the victim, kicking him while he was on the floor, before stealing reportedly £50,000 worth of jewellery.
A woman can also be heard screaming repeatedly: ‘Stop it! What are you doing?’
Imjustsheff, the account which posted the video, likened the attack as being like a ‘pack of hyenas’ attacking a lion.
In a caption on Instagram, it said: ‘People look for an opportunity to take him down and steal his jewellery like a pack of Hyenas on a lion.
‘It’s sad… £50,000+ in jewels got snatched.’
We have approached South Yorkshire Police for comment.
