A WOMAN has revealed that she thought she would save herself some money and dye her hair herself, but it turned out to be a mega fail.
Beauty fan Jessica Da Silva explained that rather than going to the hairdressers and splashing the cash on a colour change, she would get some box dye and do it herself.
But Jessica was left in tears after her DIY attempt, and even compared herself to a character from the BBC children’s television show Big Cook Little Cook.
Showing off her hair fail on social media, Jessica filmed herself crying.
She explained: “I’m done.”
As she concealed her new hairstyle, she said: “I always mess up my hair.

“I think, ‘oh, I can do it! I can do it. I’ll save some money and not go to the hairdressers.’”
Seconds later, Jessica revealed her new look, as she claimed: “For me to look like the cook from Big Cook Little Cook.”
The once brunette woman had attempted to give herself a trendy new red look, but unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as planned.
The now red-haired woman then put on her pair of black glasses and compared herself to Small, from Big Cook Little Cook, who also has short, flicky red hair and glasses.
