A CLASSIC 1983 Ford Capri with “crazy low mileage” is up for grabs at an incredible price in a “one-off opportunity” – but you’ll have to act fast.
The iconic red motor has already sparked a frenzied bidding war as keen buyers look to scoop the steal.
Listed at £7,400 on eBay, the 1983 beautiful vintage banger is described as “an ideal easy restoration project”.
It has only been driven by three previous owners who have taken excellent care of the legendary model.
The Capri was designed to be the Ford Mustang of Europe, and became one of the most sought after cars in the UK.
Nearly 1.9 million units were sold between 1968 and 1986, making it one of Ford’s most successful models.
Astonishingly, this car has racked up a measly 29,000 miles and is already in good enough condition to hit the road – with “some minor recommissioning work”.
The seller, from Sawbridgeworth, Hertforshire, wrote: “The values of Capris have consistently been rising, so it is nice to see an example that is in a good enough condition to restore without needing hugely involved work.”
They also state the classic car “starts, drives and stops” in its current condition.
While there is some wear and tear to the exterior, the paintwork doesn’t require any major revamp.

Inside the Capri, which is tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt, buyers can enjoy getting behind the wheel in original Recaro seats.
There are currently 18 bids on the 1983 Ford Capri, and potential buyers have until 8.35pm tomorrow to make their offer.
The seller described the price as a “one-off opportunity” as “similar low mileage finished vehicles would retail at around £25,000”.
This was the case when a mint 1986 Capri hit the market in Essex and was expected to fetch up to £40,000.
But, there are other amazing deals as a 1976 Ford Capri in great condition also went up for sale at a bargain £9,250.
The rare Mk2 Ghia Automatic came in original white and only had 71,000 miles on the clock.
Elsewhere in the country, a 1985 Ford Capri 2.8 Injection was listed on eBay for just £3,950.
However, the next owner would need to fully restore the car to get it back on the road.
It comes as a van used in an iconic Jack Black movie with three guitars and “in same condition from filming” has hit auction.
Classic film lovers can get their hands on the 1987 Dodge Ram B250 that starred alongside the actor in School of Rock.
Meanwhile. an incredibly rare Mercedes, owned by three music legends, also went up for sale.
The star-studded 600 Pullman was bought new by John Lennon in 1970 but has also been owned by his mate George Harrison and The Supremes’ Mary Wilson.
