Grab the latest 15-inch M3 MacBook Air for a record-low price at Amazon

SAVE $149.01: The new 15-inch Apple MacBook Air (M3, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) normally retails for $1,299, but Amazon has it on sale for the all-time low price of $1,149.99 as of April 10. That’s an 11% discount.

Apple‘s new 15-inch, M3-powered MacBook Air has been shockingly easy to find on sale in the wake of its early March launch. It was $50 off for My Best Buy members during its preorder phase, then dipped by $95 on Amazon during the retailer’s mid-month Big Spring Sale. And now, as of April 10, an even bigger discount there has dropped it to an even better price.

Amazon currently has the base configuration of the latest 15-inch MacBook Air listed for just $1,149.99, or almost $150 off its usual $1,299 MSRP — its lowest price yet. (Just be sure to apply the extra savings coupon on its product page before checkout.) We don’t usually expect to see MacBook deals this good outside of Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, so it’s a very worthwhile buy if you need to upgrade your laptop ASAP.

While it doesn’t look all that different from its now-discontinued M2 predecessor, the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air features a handful of noteworthy internal upgrades: Its silicon chip is significantly speedier, it supports WiFi 6E, and it can handle up to two external displays simultaneously when its lid is closed. It also comes in a new “midnight” finish that has an anodization seal capable of thwarting fingerprints. (You otherwise get the same 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, backlit Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and 18-hour battery life.)

“The 15-inch M3 MacBook Air may seem like a simple refresh, but as someone who owns the M2 MacBook Air, I’d definitely trade it in for the new-generation model,” wrote Mashable tech editor Kim Gedeon. (Read her full review.) At the time of writing, it’s our favorite MacBook for most people.
