Revolting Left

THE Left did not waste a second kicking off once the first Rwanda-bound illegal migrants were detained.

Civil servants are in open revolt against the Tories they are supposed to serve but actively despise and undermine.

Their union has cooked up a legal challenge claiming they should prioritise edicts from the ECHR, not our elected Government.

We always knew where their loyalties lay.

They have now said it out loud.

At the same time a masked mob blocked a coach taking migrants to the Bibby barge in Dorset from a London hotel costing taxpayers a nightly fortune.

“No borders, no nations, stop deportations,” chanted the cretins.

And these puerile “no borders” fantasists will only be emboldened by Labour’s staggering new position.

The Swinner is..

ANYONE who thinks plodding SNP lifer John Swinney is the man to lead Scotland to a prosperous, independent future needs their head tested.

It is comforting to imagine Swinney, if handed the job, seeing the error of his old boss Nicola Sturgeon’s ways: That catastrophic further decline is evitable if you obsessively stoke grievances against Westminster instead of governing well.

Sadly we know he won’t.

Swinney is the SNP’s “unifying” candidate.

And united it will be for now — by incompetence and its shared delusion.
