Mystik Dan wins 150th Kentucky Derby in insane photo finish

Mystik Dan has won the 2024 Kentucky Derby in an incredible photo finish.

The odds for Mystik Dan were 20-1.

It was the 150th Kentucky Derby.

Last year, Mage, a 15-1 shot, withonly one win in his career took home the first leg of the Triple Crown.

The long shot ran 1 ¹/₄ miles in 2:01.57.

Mage earned $1,860,000, the biggest win of his brief career, but the prize pool took a significant jump this year.

The overall pool moved from $3 million to $5 million and this year’s winner netted $3.1 million on its own.

Last year’s derby was plagued by seven horse deaths before the race.
