This is the shocking moment a thug brazenly yanks a chain off a man’s neck before a violent brawl breaks out between the two men in the middle of London‘s Piccadilly Circus.
The victim also very nearly loses his mobile phone which can be seen slipping out of his pocket as he begins sparring with the ‘thief.’
Footage captured on a GoPro camera by a motorcyclist shows the vicious fight breaking out early on Sunday morning. In the video the victim, wearing a red jumper, can be seen jostling with another man in a blue hoodie.
The man in the hoodie then grabs a chain around the victim’s neck which prompts him to try and push him away.
However, he manages to yank it off his neck. In a desperate attempt to get his chain back he starts to tussle with the thief.
The fight spills off the pavement and onto the road. At this time the victim’s mobile phone also slips from his back trouser pocket and lands on a drain cover.
As the motorcyclist watches on he can be heard saying: ‘Brother don’s fight.’
The fight nevertheless continues and the mugger then punches him again.
Motorists behind the motorcyclists seemingly become impatient with the two men and start beeping their horns for them to get out of the way of traffic.
The biker said: ‘F****** hell mate, stopping fighting you idiots’ as the 36 second video came to and end.
