GEMMA Collins will come face to face with a family member she’s never met in the new series of Who Do You Think You Are.
The former The Only Way Is Essex reality star joins the line-up of the 20th anniversary series, which will air on the BBC later this summer.
Gemma, 43, delves into the history of her family on the series – and makes a shocking discovery: a family member she didn’t know about.
The Diva Forever star will meet with the mystery family member in emotional scenes on the programme.
A teaser of the Who Do You Think You Are episode reveals: “Emotions run high for Essex-born reality TV royalty Gemma Collins, as she meets a family member she never knew she had.
“She discovers her Essex roots go back even further than she thought.”

Gemma joins the likes of Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure, Top Gear’s Paddy McGuinness and Spice Girl Mel C in the new series.
It follows a tough year for Gemma, who recently revealed her fiancé Rami Hawah’s dad had passed away.
Their loss comes as Gemma and Rami are due to walk down the aisle.
Gemma and Rami were first engaged 11 years ago but they split, and later rekindled their romance in lockdown.

The TV star bravely opened up about difficult times in her life in a trailer for the new episode of the Everything I Know About Me podcast.
Tragically, she has suffered three miscarriages.
One happened in the first coronavirus pandemic lockdown, while in a relationship with ex-boyfriend James Argent.
Gemma also miscarried and gave birth on her landing, something she understandably still finds difficult talking about, in 2012.
Speaking on her podcast, she said: “I actually gave birth to a child, sadly, and basically the child was four months old.
“Basically I had a miscarriage, but obviously the baby was formed, and it died in front of me.
“I had to go to the hospital and my mum was there. I can remember my mum being really upset, I was in shock, I was upset.
“That was really a shocking moment for me. But this is what I’m saying, I can talk about it now. Things are sometimes not meant to be.”
Elsewhere, Gemma revealed that she’s been stalked and had death threats in real life like the Baby Reindeer ordeal.
Gemma added on the podcast, she explained: “I’ve had a woman stalker that wrote me a letter in white gloves and wanted to kill me.
“I mean, we laugh because you know, that’s bizarre, but actually, then when you go home of a night on your own and you’re drinking your cup of tea it does play havoc on your mind.”
Gemma added: ” I’d get all sorts turn up at the shop, people are weird.
“That’s why in a way I came away from my shop in the end. I mean, I was the success to the business, and I built it up.
“It was my baby and then I couldn’t just crack on because I was getting so well known, which I’m grateful for but I couldn’t just be that girl in the shop sorting you out nice dresses and clothes.
“So many weirdo stalkers. That’s the downsides to it but I don’t like to dwell on bad stuff.

“I always try and find a laugh in the situation, but yeah, when they’re threatening to kill you, we do have to inform the police at that stage.
“Thank God I’ve got enough money to now have a good security system.”
