I had chin lipo TWICE to get rid of my double chin – it was a total fail, I looked like Lord Farquaad and turned green

A WOMAN has revealed that she had chin liposuction twice, in a desperate bid to get rid of her double chin.

But Robyn McManus explained that the surgery journey wasn’t as smooth-sailing as she had hoped, as not only did her face turn green, but she also ended up looking like Lord Farquaad.

Opening up about her surgery fail on social media, the brunette beauty shared a video captioned ‘Chin lipo journey…emphasis on the journey.’

Robyn explained: “Hated my double chin, had it all my life so I finally got the courage to get chin liposuction.”

The beauty fan then posted a picture of her lying down in a hospital bed, as she wrote: “Game day – positive, excited, ready to be a baddie.”

Following this, we saw Robyn wearing a hospital gown and hair net, with her face marked up, as she confirmed: “Marked up, this will be the last time my face would be this fat…off we go.”

Soon after, Robyn shared a picture of her with a mask over her face, as she added: “Just woke up from surgery. I went under general anaesthetic.

“Off my face and in pain but ready to see the results.

“Will check back in once I’m healed.”

But much to Robyn’s surprise, she then posted a picture of her post-surgery results, as she claimed: “Healed! I still have a double chin.”

She explained: “I wore my bandage for months and had a million lymphatic draining massages.

“I was told I had to wait for it to heal but I just knew that there was still fat there, not swelling.”

We then saw Robyn, back in hospital, with her gown back on, as she wrote: “Turns out it was still fat. The clinic agreed to do a revision.

“Round two, ding ding, let’s go.”

Shortly after, we saw Robyn after her second round of surgery, with her head in a bandage, as she tucked into some food.

She wrote: “Done. Tea and toast is always the best part.

“Out of surgery, went well.

“We did local anaesthetic this time around.”

We then saw Robyn days after the surgery, as she revealed: “Rocking my bandage and healing.

“So excited to see my results. Second time lucky.”

After visiting the hospital, she claimed: “My first check up, looks soooo good, so happy. But wait.”

Robyn’s face was extremely swollen, as she confirmed: “Why has my face just randomly swelled out? Rushed into hospital.

“Yes, I look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek.

“Introducing ‘Helena’ the Haematoma.

“I was bleeding internally.”

Showing off her swollen jaw, Robyn wrote: “Bleeding stopped. Discharged home back to care of the clinic looking like Lord Farquaad.

“So upset and deflated.”

But things quickly went from bad to worse, as not only was Robyn’s face swollen, but she also began to go green from bruising.

She claimed: “She’s going green.

“Might I add in the space of first surgery I lost a lot of weight but my chin just wouldn’t budge.

“So I was so ready to let go of my last insecurity.

“Bed rest and prayers that it didn’t bleed again.”

Robyn then went on to say that she had a check up with the clinic, and her face went black, as she added: “Another check up with the clinic, it’s black now.

“Starting to heal and swelling going down.”

However, things then started to look up for Robyn, as the swelling began to reduce and her chin started to look increasingly chiselled.

She explained: “Finding peace with Helena and finally leaving the house.

“Swelling continuing to go away and chin starting to get snatched.

“I don’t even recognise the girl from the first slide.

“We still have a little lump here but apparently it will continue to go down.

“Hi my name is Robyn and I now have a jaw but the double chin did not go down without a fight.”

Robyn later confirmed that she paid £6,500 on her surgery to remove her double chin.

She wrote: “It changed my life.

“My nickname was chins, people have to call me by my name now.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted on TikTok under the username @robynmcmanus, just 13 hours ago, has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 152,000 views.

Social media users were stunned at Robyn’s surgery journey, but many were eager to compliment her new look.

One person said: “It really looks amazing, a huge difference.”

Another added: “Omg what a roller coaster!! Looking snatched and beautiful!!!”

A third commented: “Stunning!! Well worth it in the end.”
