One lucky Scots punter managed to turn his £2 stake into the whopping jackpot when playing online at Grosvenor this week.

The mystery man – who wishes to remain anonymous – landed the windfall while playing Rainbow Jackpots Power Lines.

From Blackhill in north east Glasgow, the gamer – who plays under the username bjm7867 – revealed he’d had “just one hour of sleep” after scooping the “life changing amount of money”.

He’s even considering quitting his job in finance after the win.

Before that, he’s taking some time off to relax, go house hunting to buy a new home in the city and treat and support his family.

A GrosvenorCasinos.Com spokesperson, said: “We’re so thrilled for this winner in Glasgow!

“He was practically speechless on the phone when we called to verify the win and in complete shock. It’s an astonishing amount of money from a £2 stake that will be truly life changing.

“We look forward to hearing how he enjoys his winnings.”

The win follows an Aberdeen dad-of-two who collected a cool £54,000 from just £1 at his local Grosvenor.

The 35-year-old construction worker was playing Blackjack at the site, where he visited monthly with friends.

Alongside the main Blackjack game, Deivis played the £1 Ace King Progressive side bet game, which comes with a rolling jackpot.

He paid his £1 side bet and was unaware he’d landed the windfall, before turning to a feeling of disbelief.
