HANDS up if you’ve ever fallen in love with an item of clothing online, only for it to finally arrive and look completely different than expected?
Well, it turns out you’re not alone…because that was the reality for fashion fan Tyler, who shared her recent Zara haul fail with her social media followers.
“If you guys know me, you know that I don’t f*** with Zara, but they hit me with a targeted ad the other day,” Tyler begins, in a video posted to TikTok (@tymarz).
“I’ve been looking for like a midi denim skirt….I saw that they had one, so I went to the website and I’m like, let me see what they have for XXL.”
Tyler, who is a size 18, goes on to share the “foolery” that is her Zara order.
First up, she begins by showing a snap of the brown ‘printed tulle dress’ on the high-street store’s website, which retails at £45.99.

“So when I see this dress and I’m like, okay, that’s actually mad cute, but nowhere, nowhere does it say that this dress is actually completely see through from the bust down,” she says.
“Can you just imagine?”
She then goes on to pretend that she’s found some spare change on the floor.
Bending down to pick it up, she shows just how see-through the dress really is, showing off her thong from behind.

Next up, she slips into the ‘printed satin wrap dress,’ which costs £45.99.
“Then we have this dress…I feel like the Hulk guys…I’m sure you
already have a visual so I don’t need to turn around, but I’ll let you know that my butt is completely out,” Tyler explains.
However, she concludes the Zara haul on a high after showing off a very flattering denim midi skirt.
“I think it looks great,” she enthuses.
“What do you guys think?
“Sometimes I guess I just have a little bit too much faith that brands are starting to do better…but then I try this s*** on and I’m like,
b***h, you f***ed, .I guess I just don’t get it.
“Like why offer select few things in these sizes if this is how it’s going to fit? I’m confused.”
Tyler captioned the post: “I have no one to blame but myself.”
The video has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 67k views and several comments from social media users.
“Lol I hurt my own feelings every time I order from Zara,” wrote one.
A second penned: “A Zara XXL is a size 10 everywhere else lol it’s a messss.”
A third commented: “The skirt rocks on you!”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “The first dress would’ve been perfect had it not been that you might need to pick up things in it.”
Another added: “The second dress is stunning though.”
