The Countess has offered her take on Scandoval. Nearly one year after the bombshell Vanderpump Rules affair broke, Luann de Lesseps questioned whether Tom Sandoval‘s fling with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss was truly that “shocking.”

On Thursday night’s (Jan. 25) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the former Real Housewives of New York City star joined Southern Hospitality‘s Joe Bradley in The Clubhouse, where he was asked whether he believed his co-star Will Kulp actually cheated on Emmy Sharrett during a recent boy’s night.

“I don’t believe it. I said 99%,” Bradley clarified. “If someone walks into a bathroom with another girl and you’re dating someone that lives a floor below, 99% is pretty good.”

He added, “I’ve been shocked by bigger things in this world, recently, too,” referencing Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green‘s forbidden kiss on Southern Charm and, of course, Scandoval.

While the Vanderpump Rules fandom was up in arms when Ariana Madix uncovered Sandoval’s affair after nine years of dating, de Lesseps seemed unsure of the commotion surrounding the scandal.

“Is it so shocking, though? I mean, is it the first time that somebody has cheated on somebody else?” de Lesseps wondered, to which host Andy Cohen replied, “No, but it was with their best friend who was best friends with everybody else.”

In March 2023, Sandoval’s phone fell out of his pocket during a performance at TomTom — which is when Madix discovered a sexually explicit video of their mutual close friend, Leviss, saved to his camera roll. Not long after the reality star dumped him, she became a star in her own right, joining shows like Dancing with the Stars and Love Island USA as well as the Lifetime movie Buying Back My Daughter. She even landed a role as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.

Sandoval, on the other hand, has continued to face relentless backlash, with fans booing him at BravoCon and ripping him apart on social media. Like the aspiring musician, Leviss has also received her fair share of hate — so much so that she spent months in a mental health facility before declining an invitation to rejoin Vanderpump Rules Season 11.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
