Shocking moment Tube passenger is hurled to floor in brawl on edge of platform as TfL worker forced to intervene

SHOCKING footage has shown the moment a Tube passenger was hurled onto the floor in a brawl on the edge of the platform.

Video of the ugly scenes from last night shows four men throwing punches and kicks at one another with the fight spilling onto the train.

One man is seen being dragged out of the carriage by three other men as gobsmacked passengers watched on.

The trio then begin to unload a number of kicks and punches onto the man as he stumbled around on the floor on the London Underground.

But he manages to weather the hits and starts to throw back himself whilst lying flat on his back.

He manages to get back onto his feet and trades a few more blows before the fight in the capital came to a halt.

Other terrified passengers can be seen trying to move out the way as the chaos unfolded.

The brawl continued until a Transport for London (TfL) staff member separates them.

They are heard calling each other a number of vile insults, whilst members of the public scream for them to stop.  

The Sun have asked the British Transport Police (BTP) to the confirm when and where the brawl took place.

The BTP said they were aware of the incident and enquires were ongoing.

In a statement, the force said: “We urge anyone who was involved in this incident or saw it happening to contact us by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 279 of 28/01/24.”  

TfL were also contacted for comment.

The video has gone viral after been posted on social media today.

And viewers were quick to weigh in with their opinions in the comments section.

One person wrote: “I do not miss the underground one tiny bit.”

Another said: “Come to London they said. It’ll be fun they said.” 

Others made light of the situation, with one writing: ”What is this wrestlemania”, while someone else added: ‘Average day in London.’
