BUILDERS inspired by pirate ships and gypsy caravans have created a tiny home, and they each have their own wing.

The living quarters are so versatile that the roof can be raised and the sides open up like a cardboard box.

TikTokers Chloe Barcelou and Brandon Batchelder (@chloeandbrandon) built a 300-square-foot tiny home.

They gave a tour of their abode, showing how they opened their space to create more room.

Brandon pulls on a ship’s wheel, which is connected to a rope pulley system, to lift the roof.

“It’s kind of like lifting up a table by its feet,” Brandon said.

They each have their own “section of their house,” where they keep their clothes and have their offices, Chloe added.

Though the house opens up, it’s not a quick process.

Once all the walls are moved out, and then boards are put into place, Chloe and Brandon secure the expanded home with hardware.

They play “a weird game of Tetris” to get the furniture to fit when the house is closed up.

Chloe and Brandon spent at least $25,000 renovating their tiny home, they told Business Insider in 2020.

The couple has been working on the project, which is parked on a plot of land in New Hampshire, since 2015.

Chloe and Brandon might look familiar to some people: They appeared on season 1 of HGVT’s Tiny House, Big Living.

They were influenced by pirate ships, gypsy caravans, and movie sets, according to their bio on the network’s website.
