THE CHASE host Bradley Walsh was left stunned after a contestant threatened to bite him during last night’s episode.
When Bradley, 63, welcomed contestant Diane to the quiz show, he did his usual introductory banter, but he wasn’t expecting such a sharp-toothed warning.

On Thursday’s episode of the ITV quiz show, Bradley welcomed new contestants Diane, Matt, Katie and Andy, with Diane first to face the Chaser.
Before she started her cash builder round, Bradley asked Diane a bit more about herself.
She revealed that she is “a part-time scare actor.” The former teaching assistant explained that she “just runs around scaring people” for a living. To which Bradley replied: “You’re having a laugh, ain’t you?”

Diane revealed that her job mostly involves her dressing up as a zombie and scaring people. She has even performed for celebs and bragged about making dancer Jordan Banjo “scream like a baby.”
As Bradley inquired more about Diane’s job, the professional zombie scarer warned, “I will bite you if you come too near.”
“Okay,” the stunned host replied.
His exchange with Diane got even weirder as she explained her plans to use any prize money to replace her fridge after she accidentally set it on fire with a candle.

She explained: “One of my friends wanted a TikTok video of taking something unusual taken out of the fridge, so I used a candle.
“And then when I went to put the things back in the fridge … the ceiling of the fridge was on fire.”
Bradley was left even more stunned by this revelation and said, “I wish you luck Diane. I really do. Not just in this, but basically in life in general,” as he prepared to start the cash builder round.
The Chase fans felt equally uneasy after watching the exchange, with one viewer taking to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their concerns about Diane’s ‘scary’ statements.
One said: “Diane scares me.”
“Diane needs locking up for her own safety,” another joked.
While a third added: “Ok, that’s enough Diane.”

Did Diane beat the Chaser?
Unfortunately, Diane’s “scary” banter wasn’t enough to take down Irish Chaser Darragh “The Menace” Ennis.
She did bag £5,000 in the cash builder and tried to bring that home when she went head-to-head against Darragh.
Diane was briefly tempted to go for what high offer of £80,000 which the Chaser put on the table. “At home I’d always go for the big one,” she explained.
But Bradley quipped: “Enough about your private life, let’s get one with it.”

Ultimately, the professional scare actor didn’t have much luck with the questions and failed to make it to the final chase.
The Chase continues today on ITV1 at 5pm.
